Olga, Chiara, and Mariana are third-generation local weavers based in Abruzzo, Italy. Their work continues a family tradition begun in the early 1950s, rooted in the region’s long-standing textile culture and its historic use of wool, linen, and hemp.

Working exclusively with natural fibers, they renew traditional weaving techniques through a contemporary approach to structure and design. As artisans, they see their practice as a living heritage, deeply tied to place, shaped by hand, and carried forward into the present.

    I was hesitant about the price until it arrived. Now I understand it. It has that proper Italian-table feeling, generous and a little sunlit, and it has already survived two dinners and a wash without losing any of its charm. I keep finding excuses to use it.

    We put the Tavola tablecloth down for Sunday lunch and the whole table changed. The yellow is richer in real life, the weave is soft, and it made even a simple roast feel like we’d gone to some trouble. I’ve already used it three times this month. People keep touching it.
